Thanks, [2014] => Let's go, [2015]

Dear Pipsqueaks,

To be honest, I can't believe it's already time to write a reflection post for the year. 2014 felt like a very blur 365 days with no major happenings, but when I start to dive into the months, then flashbacks come to me...

Jan - Flew back to TPE to visit the family for CNY; always good to to see them during these holidays even though we don't do anything special. It's just good to hangout. Also gave my sister her ipad mini Christmas present. I'm not one for expensive presents, but I like giving something useful. See, normally I would be the one entertaining my sister either going out shopping together or trying a new restaurant together. We did everything together, and now that I'm not around, I can only provide her with some form of entertainment...except she uses that to play games and watch movie previews *faint* Oh wells, as long as she's happy with it.

This [Christmas]

Dear Pipsqueaks,

Has anyone seem 2014? It literally swept past me, and now it's the end of the year! Hard to believe that because I haven't even gotten used to writing "2014" in the YEAR box, and now we gotta change to "2015". Brain will have a great time adjusting again.

BUT, this isn't a year-end post, so I won't go there yet..so.

Christmas. "Where are you, Christmas? Why can't I find you? Where have you gone away?" is in fact spot on with how I felt about Christmas this year. Not that I was hoping for a pile of presents under a Christmas tree, or snow in the summer-all-year-round Kuala Lumpur, but somehow, Christmas felt rather empty this year.
