From Me to You

Dear Pipsqueaks,

It's really a walk down memory lane reading through all my old poems...

my love for you is like
the sun behind the clouds
there, but hiding
sending you mild warmth from afar
hoping one day
to shine only for you

我對你的愛戀就像
躲在雲背後的太陽
存在卻看不見
遠遠的散發出對你的溫暖
希望有一天
只為你閃爍

Winter Wonderland: Contiki

Dear Pipsqueaks,

Continuing on to pour all my writing onto my blog - a poem I wrote after our 'Winter Wonderland: European Tour" with Contiki. Reading this still brings me right back. Let me take you on a flashback...

our worlds met at the london pub
no one thought a second more
loaded the bus and off to explore

amsterdam's red lights and our awkward ice-breaker
sure many guys were itching to experience the "culture"

berlin's dark histories of brutal slaying
to remember or forget has brought mixed feelings

prague's magnificant castle and massive coins
and a church that took 800yrs to adjoin

innusbruck's collection of beautiful swarvoski
made our christmas even more dreamy

munich's bike tour blessed by good weather
beautiful sites and some gutsy members

venice's gondola was the couple's best memory
xmas eve's sudden snowflakes was our best merry

rome's ancient scenary was a breath-taker
nearly frozen, gelato was a must and as good as ever

vatican city was a long wait in rain for what seemed like miles
but nonetheless the majestic st.paul + pope made it all worth while

florence's david seems the perfect man, but not quite
karaoki bar and one litre daiquiris made the night

ferrari's awesome cars were a shocking display
even the girls had much to say

lucerne's new year's eve party was priceless
chilled at the highest bar in europe on mount titlus

paris's triomph arc had the best view of eiffle
moulin rough's performance was tempting and playful

thought this trip couldn't get any better
chemistry sparked and brought us closer
can't believe our three weeks ended
now more than ever i feel binded

holding on to the memories tight
for our european trip was the adventure of a life time

Words Unspoken

Dear Pipsqueaks,

Trying to catch up on writing down the millions of thoughts flowing in my mind here, and now I feel rather lost if my writing isn't posted/archived here...so transferring from Facebook, a poem dedicated to my dear sister:

I may not be the best with words
But what I feel is true
All my life, every moment counting
You were there, through and through

No matter what I may throw at you
Unfair, unreal, pure delusional
I'd get my way before I turn blue
Yes, I can be so dysfunctional

Now, I know I'm Ms. Difficult
But I'm so glad it was you
That took the challenge by default
With no instruction or any clue

No one said life would be fair
So you never bothered complaining
'Cause you know I do really care
Except it's never for sharing

It's time for you to hear me out
All the things I have to say
It may get a little gush, no doubt
Yet, they've been too long in delay

Right off the bat, I'd like to thank you
For always being my cornerstone
My dreams were no longer far from true
'Cause you'd never let me fight alone

Thanks for keeping me grounded
Reminding me what matters
Thanks for ensuring I'm protected
So I could leap without fear of shutters

I am truly grateful and truly blessed
To have your company on this journey
No matter what life may wish to test
With you guiding, I'm sure to pass however many

If you still have not guessed by now
I shall be bluntly clear
This was written with a bow
For the world's most amazing, my sister
