Dear Pipsqueaks,
It's been another lazy weekend. What did I do yesterday? See! I can't even remember what I did just 24hrs ago...seriously K.O.ed by lack of use. This is precisely what happens during weekends - I totally shut off. Brain boycotts any difficult thinking. Could be good or bad I suppose.
At least I remember what I did today! Yay :) A friend's sister had invited me to join her for a "tourist experience" to KLCC to pick up some concert tickets. Of course, public transit & hot weather aren't foreign to me, but I must admit, I've been rather spoiled with a ride for the last 2 years? So, having to park near the LRT station and train for about 30mins was absolutely...bearable. Ah ha, who says I'm a PRINCESS?! I can do public...without aircon...on foot. *catch me before I faint*
So someone said Philips is having a Warehouse sale also at KLCC. Not going to lie, but the word 'sale' is VERY deadly to me. Though, I'm sure it's not just me - all ladies would feel a slight tingle when they hear the word 'sale'. It's like totally natural! Okay, maybe I'm trying too hard to justify myself but meh. Bite me.
I'm at least a conscious shopper...I think. I don't normally shop, but when I do, it's only because it's a necessity. Rarely do I go out and just buy. I do my research. I make sure it's the right price. I execute only the best deals...and *ta da* I brought home a new vaccum! I was so the impressed by the product and price that it literally only took me 5 minutes to decide on buying it. Done and done. You see, I'm such a straightforward shopper. If it's good and I need it, don't say more. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY (with that Futurama Fry meme), haha. Brilliant.
Then, we scouted the rest of the fair for anything else worth buying. We ended up leaving the place with 2 vaccums (one for a friend), a portable speaker, and an airfryer - it's a very fascinating item but my kitchen honestly cannot squeeze in another appliance, so I had to say no. Plus, I don't want to fried food to be a norm in my kitchen anyway, so best to just not touch it altogether. Deal!
Definitely feeling quite 'mission accomplished' today! Short term goals are such confidence-boosters, I should totally have more :P Anyway, been a loooooong time away from my bed. I miss it tons, so time for bed!
(Doesn't it look AMAZING? Can't wait to use it~)
Sweet dreams!
Ciao.
