Gossip Girl-Inspired

Dear pipsqueaks,

Here's the reason why I don't watch dramas, they make me want to scream cos some people are just so lacking in the intelligence department! With falling into traps n all the miscommunication n carelessness...it angers me to watch Sarina get screwed over even though she may, n I mean that in the fairest sense, deserve it. Regardless, "Gossip Girls" season 4 is still my must-see show every tuesday night. For one, it just keeps reminding me that people are not always, if not never, as they seem.

"Never judge a book by its cover" cannot speak more truth. Like a library, the world is literally a collection of all kinds of books- duh, people. We all have our own story written in our memories- n of course constantly being added to- n the only way to "read" it is to get to know the author. Though, only when the story-teller wishes to disclose more would u know any more than what u can figure out urself (which by the way, i feel bad for those who have absolutely no talent in people-reading. either they're completely oblivious or just a lost cause. u know how when u look at someone, the way they smile or the way they touch their face or how they sit, their body tells u more than what their mouths will. if you didn't know already, body language makes up about 70% of communication. so the next time u'd take someone for their words, look for other signs cos that'll probably tell more than what ur hearing).

But back to what I was saying, things are never as simple as they seem, n so aren't people. think about it this way: some people would ask others to participate in an activity, n it seems like a nice gesture, but really? do u think they're just being nice? well, let's not be too pessimistic about humanity, but it's totally possible to think otherwise. here's a very likely reason: it's just so they wouldn't be the only one getting into shit if someone were to pull the gun on them. even nastier? so the others WOULDN'T cos they're "in on it". whoever said it was right, it's a "dog eat dog world" out here. it may feel that when we discuss this topic, it tends to lead us to think of the negative aspects, but let's not forget the positives! some people may seem like they could care less, but it may just be that it's not their thing to be noisy or gossipy. some people may seem like they know nothing cos they never speak up, but it may just be that they prefer to listen (u know, the introverts). so whether u find a new book or pick up an old book to read, just remember, every book has its chapters full of secrets, n if u don't pay attention, u may just hv to read it ALL over again.

The likelihood of finding a complete blank piece of paper in a library of books is next to none, so don't expect to find one.
