Locked Out...Again!

Dear pipsqueaks,

It must be related cos everytime I'm starting to feel bored n wishing something exciting happens, I somehow manage to lock myself out of my apartment. U'd think it'd be easier living in a serviced apartment...think again! Apparently, no one else has access to ur unit except the landlord n maybe the agent. So if u did ever get so lucky as to lock urself out? U better cross ur fingers n toes that ur landlord didn't leave the country (mine does international business so he flies quite often- which also boggles my mind why he even had 2 keys made just in case when he's not even here to cover my bottoms when I need covering!!)

I'm gonna outright admit that this isn't my first time, but I did come up with a planB! except, I really didn't think that one thru cos my planB was to leave an extra key at the office. BUT, it's locked in my desk- keys to my desk are in my apartment. Now why did I not think of this? Cos I'm smart like that. So to avoid this: MAKE SURE UR PLANB DOESN'T INVOLVE ANOTHER LOCK! =.="

But I do hv to explain this isn't entirely cos I'm too smart for my own good. Mind u, the keys are door cards. They aren't shaped like keys to begin with n since I switch wallets quite often depending on where I'm going (its all everyone else's fault for scarying the crap out of me about how dangerous Malaysia is! So I'd switch to another wallet just for the gym or if I'm making a short trip to the grocery store, etc. Just being careful!), Its quite likely that anyone would forget them!

*live update*
Omg I just got a call from the locksmith n there'll be a charge of RM100 for coming to save my ass...well I can't blame him! It IS a sunday n literally impossible traffic to get to where I'm staying. Hai. An expensive lesson to learn TWICE!- well the first time I had to taxi over to my landlord's place in another county to get the extra key around 10:30pm on a worknight all by myself when I've only been here for less than a month...so this definitely calls for a revised fool-proof planB!!!

So...

PlanA: always leave the key cards by the door so they can never be misplace or forgotten somewhere

PlanB: give an extra key card to a trusted individual or keep it at an unlocked place at the office (at least ur coworkers will have keys to the office)

Do I need a planC? Hm...I hope I never even need to run a planB ever again! I guess this's one thing that I don't like about living alone...can't just call someone to come home n get the door. But it's all part of being independent, isn't it? I'm bound to run into problems, but it'll be a lesson learned in the end. Come to think of it, it could hv been worse...landlord, agent n locksmith all went out of town. I could cry a thousand tears in the lobby n no one could help me...so, the glass being half full, I'm just glad the locksmith's on his way.

The situation could always be worse: u just haven't considered all the possibilities yet.
