Weekend: Movies

guess u could say this is one of the bad things about being away from home: weekends get awfully boring! but then again, only boring people get bored (so i read off some girl's shirt the other day), therefore, i gotta keep myself unboreded! now, i get into the habit of watching movies during weekends in KL. for one, it's wayyy cheaper than watching movies in n.america (even if ur comparing to Movie Tuesday deals of $6 a movie) yes, no kidding, movies r about RM12 (so about $4 back at home). but they don't hv things like "scene member" to collect points n stuff...boo!

hm, another thing is i can almost be guaranteed a good spot right in the middle cos i watch alone. no need to wait for someone else to be free, or sacrifice a good seat just to sit next to someone else lol. it's also another personal preference to not talk during movies, so watching by myself is perfect (i hate how ppl keep talking like they're watching a movie in their own living room or something...seriously? if u can't obey common sense n hv the courtesy to shut up when the movie starts, then maybe ur not ready to be watching movies in public- more public behaviour training required. period).

then there's the censorship rule in malaysia, which i still hvn't figured out how it works cos honestly, that's how much they cut out. maybe it's the "eeek" factor? lol. personally, i'd prefer them just not to show the movie at all if they're gonna end up cutting parts out cos the storyline just doesn't make any sense after all that chopping. okay, maybe some scenes are pointless, but com'on...it's like telling HALF a secret. more confused than entertained. oh wells, let's hope contagion won't be too badly censored- tho, we wouldn't even know, would we?! *sigh*
